In celebration of World Kindness Day, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the success of 2024’s “A Gift of Kindness” event, held on November 9th. This annual initiative brings the community together in a spirit of giving, and this year, we had the honour of partnering with Mr. Melvin Yong, Member of Parliament for Telok Blangah, to offer support to families in the community who could use a helping hand.
A Day of Giving Back
Thanks to the support of our sponsors and volunteers, we were able to deploy our trucks and vans to deliver over 700 care packages across Telok Blangah Crescent and Telok Blangah Rise. These packages, filled with essential pantry items and household necessities like rice, noodles, toiletries, and cleaning supplies, were a small but meaningful way to support them.
We’re incredibly grateful for the generous support of our sponsors, whose contributions make it possible for us to carry out this event annually. Their commitment to making a difference in the community helps us continue this tradition of kindness year after year.
